Recently subscribed with DHL’s Easyshop and I got my address where I can keep my items bought online. The reason I took one is that there are items I cannot buy here in Kuwait like the sought after Case logic slrc 205 sling bag for my camera. I even look for it during my vacation last Sept’10 in Philippines buy it seems this item is only available in the west. Currently, I am waiting for my package to arrive with the MB-D80 battery grip and a set of filters. I worry one thing though, in the invoice online stated 40kd with 4.9kgs in contrary to the first delivery from UPS to my US suite only 3.1lbs. I hope that is not the final.
People at home this afternoon were grieving like someone died. They just informed me that our TFC subscription was cut although in the screen it says no signal but we concluded that these guys working with TFC in Kuwait were running some extra kick to their business or personal business(whatever).
My uncle phoned their servicing branch and referred everything about the connection and etc. but all they can help was to come to our home and do some “servicing” for 5kd. But before throwing those hard earned dinars, we first checked all the cables, sat dish and everything about the connection but none was altered. People at home said it just went out as they were watching their ”favorite” programs. We know these connections can be controlled by them. It is sad to think that they are sacrificing their reputation just for 5 bucks but I think 5 dinars for at least “a thousand subscribers?” here in Kuwait, hmmm i think it worth it.
Ok, we are there already, they need to do some servicing to earn some but is very unethical to just cut those services right away in order to extract few pennies from customers. They have spoiled the good laughter and tears of these followers(excluding me) from watching those soaps and those songs of Willie Revillame(which is painful to my ears, am I alone with this? but in fairness they got good lyrics).
Anyways, thank you TFC, you have given us the chance to try Pinoy TV, as I have heard they got kick ass programs and they got more pinoy look especially with their talents. I can’t wait to watch GMA again especially Bubble Gang.
Its been two weeks with these colds after some medication, diet and etc., no improvement. I sneezed almost every minute especially inside my room and I came to think about the 2008 movie “Ghost Town” and wonder, what if the theory about ghosts passing through a body will cause humans to sneeze, does it means there are of ghosts in my room having a party? or just I need to start cleaning up?

What a relief after seeing the one of my turtle started to eat again. It’s been a week or more that it didn’t ate anything. It just stayed on the top of the platform with it’s head and limbs retracted inside it’s shell. I even noticed it’s shell became soft, as I tried to transfer it to another container. I did a quick research about them and with these behavior like stopped eating, stayed on one place and becoming weak, it means they are stressed(overcrowded), fed on wrong food or it has a cold water. I guess, it just got stressed because when I transfered it to another container alone, it started eating right away. And also, every-time I fed them in the morning I noticed that the weak one is always at the bottom with the other one sometimes two other turtles were on top of it and I don’t even think they are mating because they are just three weeks old. I just hope it gets well soon and live like the others or else I’ll get a chicken for a pet.
Before the start of the month of April, some friends pranked on me(not on the same time) and I didn’t have any idea why. I thought it was just a coincidence that they toyed on me in just a span of a week. Not until today when I visited Facebook were some friends posted some bizarre happenings about them, I realized all of those were for April fools day. Probably been busy everyday from work, stressed out and got less time to think about my surroundings. So for this coming weekend, i’ll take a break, waste some time and laugh… (with friends of course) because as they have said, “laughter can increase the blood flow in our blood vessels”(does it sound like high blood pressure?).
Just a week ago, we visited Carrefour of Kuwait and spotted a DiVoom iTour 10 capsule speaker. At first I doubted that it would be like any normal speaker like those for desktop computers. I saw one from a friend but that was from a different company and a little bit bulky(just imagine a medium sized cucumber on your bag).
Although being launched late here in Kuwait, still I bought one through the insistence of my friends(thank you) and also I intend to use it on my Cowon A3 or on my phone while doing some work at home. Being small I really really underestimated it, being packed with 2.4w rms only, I never expected more about it.
When I tried it first with my phone(which also have poor loud speaker)it blows me. I never expected something more from its size and yes it can shake the roots of your eardrums. It has a loud sound with clear emphasis on bass and treble on a small scale. It even surpasses my desktop computer’s speakers(it’s the cheap one that squeaks to the fullest volume) and probably, it equaled my ATech headphones performance.
The thing that I love most of iTour 10 is its size. Easy to carry on the go and its connector jack with its 7cm length, can be easily tucked underneath. There are only 2 levels of volume to control though but your media player has more control about it.
It’s like being fished out from a pool of oil.
Recently my bro just graduated from nursing but unfortunately I cannot attend due to financial reasons and some other reasons that I already forgot. I just wish he will double his effort the way he did in four years for his board exam. For my part, it’s like a relief from pushing a boulder uphill and resting a few meters from the top.
It is not easy financing a college student especially in nursing. Tuitions, books, uniforms, equipments and etc. it is like buying equipments for building a spacecraft. Hard part is, i don’t have my own family yet but I am now experiencing how a father should be like. bollocks
Living the name
Why the name?
Recently, as I felt relaxed from days of work, pressure from schedules and etc., I came to think about my life in the past. I tried to recall all of those fears that I have when I was young. One of those, was being called by the name ”boryong“. Actually, it is the name of my grandma’s brother. As I recalled, whenever theres a gathering, some friends and other family members started taunting me with the name then I started shying away and sometimes started crying. I don’t know why I acted like that, maybe I am afraid of my name being replaced or just I don’t like to imagine the face of the person whose name being called on me because as I can recall he got a weird eyes.
As of the saying, “you have to live your fears in order to conquer it“. But I think I already conquered it long before. So for now, I’ll start using it as one my my net names, besides it is the name of my grand.
